Back to the Office (Sorta) for This AtmosFAN

With the holidays now behind us, it’s time to trudge back to the office. (Sigh.) But that’s not all bad if you are Stacy S. of Rock Hill, South Carolina. For the Christmas season, he converted his cubicle into a snowy winter cabin, complete with fireplaces to keep the holiday spirit roaring. Not that anyone needs an excuse to trick-out a cubicle like this, Stacy says his creation was a part of an Christmas office decoration contest at where he works, Messer Financial in Charlotte, North Carolina. “It only took a weekend to build,” he says, “but a lot of daydreaming to plan.”

Stacy says that he’s an avid Halloween decorator at both he is home and office – he has a three-projector setup for Halloween that features Jack-O’-Lantern Jamboree, Boo Crew and Witching Hour decoration collections. They are even connected to separate transmitters so that passersby can listen to the decorations on their car radios. So, needless to say, Stacy had the chops to take the office decorating contest by storm.

And that he did. By mounting computer monitors in the “windows” of his office cabin and displaying Night Before Christmas Decoration Collection, Stacy was able to make it appear that there was a roaring fire inside. And inside, there was! We also love the added detail in how he covered up all the wires and backsides of the monitors with festive wrapping paper. It looks great inside and out.Great work, Stacy! We love your cabin – it seems like the perfect way for the rest of us to ease back into the New Year. Heck! Working in your cube must almost be like getting time off without having to use a vacation day!
